I live a blameless sort of life, and rarely have to apologize to anybody, unless they work in Human Resources, of course, and even then, the apology sounds a bit like, 'I'm sorry but I simply have no idea what it is you actually DO here!' which is less of an apology and more of a mission statement, because I think human resources is over-populated as it is, and they need to start firing people right now, and they won't, obviously. Oh, this card? This is for my next meeting with HR.
spat in your ice cream
First of all, if I did spit in somebody's ice cream - and I'm not saying I did - then maybe that person should have bought me an ice cream as well. If they'd just been a little less selfish then maybe we wouldn't be here. Also, why do people always want to bring Human Resources into everything? Wouldn't it have been simpler just to buy someone an ice cream? Nobody in Human Resources has ever bought me an ice cream either. What do those people even do, anyway?
